DYNAVIS® Technology and Industry News
DYNAVIS® WILL DEMONSTRATE FUEL EFFICIENCY AT INTERMAT 2018
“For fleet owners of equipment using hydraulic fluid that switch to products using DYNAVIS® Technology, they’ll experience higher efficiency, more productivity, longer service intervals and therefore reduced operating costs,” said Rolf Fianke, Global Marketing Manager DYNAVIS®. “At our Intermat stand, we’ll demonstrate real cost savings and explain what difference DYNAVIS® technology makes to construction, materials processing units and mining equipment.”
DYNAVIS® is a technology for formulating hydraulic fluids that optimizes their viscosity. Fluids with constant viscosity over a wide range of temperatures ensure greater efficiency, less energy consumption and can offer an overall fuel savings of 5-20%. Simply changing you’re a hydraulic fluid to one formulated with DYNAVIS® technology allows nearly any hydraulically powered machine to operate more efficiently, dynamically and accurately.
One of the highlights at the stand is a pair of “Efficiency Bikes”. Both drive hydraulic pumps comparable with those used in construction machines. One of the hydraulic systems contains a DYNAVIS® fluid and the other a conventional hydraulic fluid. A liquid column indicates how much more efficiently the DYNAVIS® fluid functions as the “cyclist” provides the pumping power.
Case studies with impressive results from end-users like German based construction company Lutzenberger that proved 9.2% improved fuel efficiency in a roadwork project in one of their Liebherr crawler excavators LH 936.
The DYNAVIS® stand will be equipped with unique digital marketing tools, such as fuel efficiency calculators and animations to demonstrate what happens inside a hydraulic pump when the DYNAVIS® effect kicks in. Operator’s testimonials about how DYNAVIS® formulated hydraulic fluids have improved heavy equipment’s performance are also displayed.
Debuting at the Intermat 2018 stand will be the DYNAVIS® Media Wall, featuring a combination of a live social media feed and a ‘through the wall’ experience. Controlled by an application on a smartphone, the LED wall seems to disappear at the touch of a button and make the bike activity on the other side of the wall visible. And the ‘Wall of Fame’, promoting big stories in a big format, will share success from DYNAVIS® licensees around the world.
Visitors can find DYNAVIS® licensed products through a global network of licensees, which has recently added Gazpromneft Lubricants Ltd. in Russia, Bucher-Motorex in Switzerland, and Orlen Oil in Poland. The full list of licensees can be found at www.dynavis.com under “WHERE TO FIND DYNAVIS®”.

An unequal race: efficiency optimized DYNAVIS® hydraulic fluid in one bike vs. conventional hydraulic fluid in the other bike.
